Facilitation
I am an experienced facilitator and have delivered workshops in partnership with the University of Washington, University of East London, Theatre Deli, Stanley Arts, Cambridge Junction, Chisenhale Dance Space, British Red Cross, BOLD Elephant, Applecart Arts, and more. I have worked with various groups including university students, young people, refugees, migrants, neurodivergent and disabled communities, pre-professionals and professionals.
As part of Halfpace Theatre I've developed curriculum and trained additional facilitators, alongside creating resources and support packets to include alongside the workshops.
I am available to teach workshops ranging from two hours to multi-day courses and am happy to offer a pre-existing module or create a bespoke experience for your group. Inclusion is one of the core tenants of my facilitation and I am confident in navigating a variety of participant access requirements.
Some current and recent workshop topics include:
Foundational Devising
Devising Techniques
Devising Jams (creative exchange)
Creating Ensemble Theatre
Site-Responsive Theatre
The Writer-Director Relationship
Fundraising 101
Arts Council Bid Writing
Introduction to Self-Producing
Performing Shakespeare

“Really developed my creative awareness & can't wait to use it in my practise.”
"If you are not sure of something, learn them [from] a person who can break it down as a cluster of concrete things (like Megan Brewer)."
